God's Mountain Retreat was started in 1976 and was used by local churches for weeked camps. The camp has grown each year. Now churches from other states along with local churches are using these facilities for their weekend and week long camps. Area Served God's Mountain was inspired by God to be a place where today's youth could go and learn about God, Christ, and the Holy Spirit. It is a nondenominational camp and no specific church doctrines are taught. With it's location being nestled in the mountains of the Cherokee National Forest, the creeks, plant life, and wildlife make it a perfect place to learn and appreciate the handiwork of God's nature. What Sets Us Apart God's Mountain Retreat exists to glorify God. When we fail to do that there is no reason for it's existence. |
